The same agent and memory on every channel
Web, WhatsApp, and email carry one conversation, whichever you answer from.
Althea works best when it can reach you where you actually answer. The conversation is attached to your identity rather than to a browser tab, so the thread follows you across channels.
In practice, an email briefing lands on your commute, and one item points at a preprint that matters for your current project. You reply, "Find the full paper and summarize the methods section." Later, the summary is waiting in the web app, citations attached. That same week you ask from WhatsApp what the sample size was, and Althea answers from the same thread, without you rebuilding the context.
| Web app | |||
|---|---|---|---|
| Best for | Structured work: reviews, code runs, summaries, uploads, source trails | Quick back-and-forth on the go | Longer-running work and proactive updates |

| Files and media | Uploads, figures, citations | Both directions, depending on the workflow | Forward whole threads with Gmail connected |
| Long answers | Full | Split into readable chunks | Full messages |
| Replies land in the same context | Yes | Yes | Yes |
Save Althea as a contact
After setup there is a downloadable vCard: name, number, email, photo. Save it, or scan the QR code, and Althea shows up on your phone like a person instead of a pinned tab. You should not need to remember a number or dig through your inbox just to ask a question.
Setup
Open Settings from your profile icon, go to Contact Info, and from there verify your email and connect WhatsApp. Connect Gmail under Integrations if you want Althea to work with forwarded threads; download the vCard or scan the QR code to save the contact.
Interruptions
More channels could mean more noise. Notification preferences live in settings, and briefings only reach you past the relevance bar.
